Group Holocaust Project

Group Project: 30 points Due Date – June 2nd

Objective: To create a timeline showing important events from your novel and how these events correlated to the events of WWII and the Holocaust.

Each group will receive a timeline showing events leading up to and through WWII and the Holocaust. Your group will select 10 or more of these events to incorporate into a timeline of events from your book. You must use at least 10 events from your book for a total of 20 events on your timeline. The events from your book must portray an overview of what occurred in your story.

q Events from your story must be marked differently than those from the class timeline. This can be done easily by marking the events in two different colors.

q Your timeline must have a starting and ending year with the additional years marked proportionately. You can start no earlier than 1933 and end no later than 1948.

q You must use the type of timeline indicated below. (The years given are for example purposes only.) There are large rolls of paper located down the hall that your group can use.

q Add illustrations, pictures, or drawings to help illustrate your timeline.

q Your group will be presenting your work with an explanation of why you chose those particular dates.
