Reading Project - Due 4/1

Objective: To describe the plot of a book using song titles and picture representation using the genre of Science Fiction or Fantasy books.

Requirements:

q Design the cover for a CD case with a picture that represents scenes or ideas from your book. You must cover the front and back of the CD cover. Use photos, clip art, or your own drawings or designs. No stick figures!

q List the book title as the cover of the CD. Also include the author, publisher, and copyright date (this information could be on the inside.)

q Create a list of at least 10 song titles that represent the plot of your book. You must cover the beginning, middle, and end of the story in the correct order. The song titles need to be listed on the back of the CD cover in an appealing design. Remember to give credit to the artist that recorded the song.

q A brief explanation (3 or more sentences for each) is included for each song title that shows how the song relates to the book. This will need to be on a separate piece of paper to allow you space.

q Correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar are shown in all parts of the project
